Session for session, Coaching is more expensive than Counselling. However, Coaching is more of a dynamic programme of self-discovery and learning; a focused, intensive, short term commitment which also works with your subconscious mind (our conscious mind is responsible for only 5 - 10% of our behaviours). Therefore positive changes are created at a deeper level in the psyche. I also use a blend of therapeutic techniques to help you tackle and manage your issues from different angles and to start building your own 'Inner Coach'. Having this Inner Coach means you can tackle life's challenges from a more empowered and balanced perspective, and you'll learn many tools, processes and models that will help you resolve the issues you're experiencing, as well as knowing you can lean on these in the future when other challenges arise. You will up-level your self-awareness, knowledge, wisdom and sense of self-empowerment. You'll find that you manage life from a different place and you'll have a significant shift in how you perceive life generally. My client reviews on Google help explain this, so please feel free to have a look at those HERE.
You may have tried other solutions in the past as I did before I found Coaching. In my own life, I found Coaching to be the most empowering solution for personal development and tackling emotional challenges. Having invested in many trainings over the years, I have distilled down the most effective approaches and techniques into my work, so that I can bring you the most impactful and life-transforming results, in the shortest time possible.

Yes and no. It is like Counselling in that Confidentiality applies to our sessions, you will feel truly heard and the sessions are coming from a place of non-judgement.
There will also be talking and reflecting but the main difference is that my style of Coaching is more immersive, dynamic and teaching-based. Counselling or therapy will often spend quite a bit of time visiting the past however whilst we do look backwards to difficult times in your life that are still causing problems in your present, we are always looking forwards and are focused on creating the changes that you really want. You could liken it to a car journey - you may need to look in the rear view mirror, but you are always driving forward, and learning to create your own 'Sat Nav' for life.
This puts you in the driving seat so that you truly step into your own sense of personal power.
One of the key differences is the effectiveness of the techniques you will experience. Talking about a problem can often entrench us further into it and sometimes we need a shift in our energy, perspective and even our memories. Techniques like NLP, EFT and guided visualisations create these shifts by accessing the subconscious mind to build new neural pathways in the brain, whereas just talking about an issue can limit or slow our ability to create change.
Another key difference is that the sessions are led by the Coach rather than the client talking for one hour. At the beginning of the session, I check in with you to see how you feel and what we want to focus on (I may suggest an issue but will always seek your agreement) and we go onto explore an issue in depth. I ask you questions you may never have considered before, and this process leads to many light-bulb moments. I may use a flipchart to help you work through issues visually, as this can be very effective, as well as using key techniques to work with your subconscious mind or change your energy state.
You are proactively choosing to move yourself into a higher state of living. It is fascinating and powerful, and the results occur quickly, as you will see from my client reviews.
If you feel depressed to the point that your sleep and/or appetite are affected, your motivation to do things is very low and/or you feel tired a lot of the time, you should contact your GP in the first instance and talking therapies or medication (or both) are likely to be a more suitable option for you than Coaching. However, many of us have low points in our lives, without being mentally unwell. We can feel stuck, anxious and troubled, perhaps because something in our lives needs to change or we need to change. This is the human condition. I work with people who are at this place in their lives and are in a position to work through these challenges with my support.
