About Me
My training and background
Welcome! My name is Claire Knight. I am a qualified Coach, Clinical & Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, Mindfulness Teacher and NLP Practitioner. I've studied and trained in an array of personal development & emotional wellbeing therapies over many years, and helping people move forward when they're feeling stuck, confused and anxious is my passion.
You may have found your way here because you're feeling stuck, anxious or stressed. You might have a strong, persistent feeling that something just isn't right in your life. There could be some negative patterns that are holding you back from living more happily. Perhaps you're at a crossroads, unsure how to move forward and you're feeling confused, frustrated and stuck. Your feelings are a call to action - they mean that some aspects of your life need to be explored, accepted, healed or changed. These aspects can be difficult to confront, but as I have witnessed and experienced, that confrontation leads to learning, growth, stepping into your authentic self and living life from your highest place of potential. I believe this is why we are here - to learn, grow, connect with others, feel comfortable with who we are and enjoy life fully! I've been helping people find their way forward for almost 10 years now. And I absolutely adore the brilliance and usefulness of Coaching & Hypnotherapy, which I combine with other powerful Solution Focused tools and therapies, to help my clients live life from a more empowered, authentic and happy place.
I also offer Trauma & Emotional Release Facial Reflexology (Lone Sorensen Method) through my Mind & Sole Therapy Reflexology practice.
This specialist treatment works at a body-based (somatic) level, supporting the release of accumulated stress and old emotions, while helping to calm and regulate the nervous system. It can be particularly valuable when we know and understand what’s going on in our heads, but our bodies are still holding onto the stress.
It can be integrated into Coaching and Hypnotherapy where appropriate, or experienced as a deeply relaxing standalone treatment.
My Coaching & Therapy approach
I offer you my warmth, empathy, professional skills, knowledge of the human condition, observations, experience and learnings. I also offer you my belief in you. I structure our sessions to help you find answers, solutions, insights and perspectives. I shine a light on who you really are, and I'm particularly interested in your strengths, qualities and what makes you, you. I help you use your gut and heart when your head is going around in circles. I am your advocate but will also gently challenge you and I may give you homework! I use science, psychology and spirituality together to bring you to the best possible place you can be in. I mentally hold your hand when issues feel painful and I get to witness your joy, lightness and power when you find ways to navigate the difficulties.
This beautiful (and often fun!) process happens in a confidential, nurturing space, either in person or remotely. It enables you to be really honest with yourself about what is going on for you, and to find a way through the issues that are getting in the way of your happiness and full potential.
Locations
There are a couple of ways you can choose to work with me for Coaching & Hypnotherapy – whichever suits your lifestyle best:
- Online via Zoom – Around 60% of my clients choose online sessions for ease and flexibility.
- In person at my home office in Heddington – A calm, private setting just outside Calne and Devizes, Wiltshire.
